About the role
- Our Circularity team, composed of 4 people, is integrated in Soda, Bicarbonate & Derivatives Global Business Unit and focuses on business and new project developments.
- As a Technical Marketing Specialist in Circularity (F/M/X), you will work on supporting in technical marketing, business development, project management & innovation. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable processes of tomorrow and have a positive impact on sustainability and site competitiveness with a cradle-to-cradle approach.
- 2 axis: Resource Valorization: Transform industrial wastes & by-products into high-value assets by mapping their technical specs against the needs of the construction, agriculture, and chemical sectors and Tolling & Partnership: Execute a zero-CAPEX growth strategy by identifying and managing external partners for mineral post-treatment and refinement.
You will be accountable for:
- Strategically deploying key internal and external projects related to co‑products and by‑products. Your mission is to protect the operational license to operate across global production sites, strengthen competitive positioning, and ensure the efficient use of natural resources.
- Maximizing the value of large and diverse co‑product streams to reduce CAPEX development costs and generate significant added value across the entire value chain (F/M/X).
- Developing strong technical value propositions to convincingly engage and support new EU customers.
- Conducting market intelligence activities, identifying opportunities through the analysis of mineral supply chains and evolving environmental regulations.
- Acting as a cross‑functional connector, serving as the “translator” between Solvay’s Research & Innovation laboratories and our global customer base to ensure alignment, clarity, and impactful collaboration.
We offer a fixed-term contract (6 months) based on hybrid working mode. (2 days per week onsite).
About you
Relevant education degree in Process and Materials Engineering in environment. PhD is a plus. Relevant work experience in chemistry, cement, construction, insulation and agriculture segment is needed.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is €53,800 - € 63,000 per year in France.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives. Benefits:
