Sustainability Intern (F/H/X)

We are looking for : 

• Bringing state-of-the-art transparency on the carbon footprint of its products to its customers is part of the Solvay sustainability roadmap. The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) project aims at the digitally-enabled determination of the carbon footprint of Solvay products, in line with the industry best practice developed recently under the Together for Sustainability initiative for the global chemical industry.
• As a Product Carbon Footprint Trainee, reporting to the Product Carbon Footprint Process Manager, you will be a member of the Solvay Sustainability team and of the PCF project. You will interact directly with the project team on the calculation of the product carbon footprint of Solvay products.

 
We count on you to : 

• Analyze and qualify the PCF data as provided by suppliers 
• Interact with sustainability experts to identify the most suitable standard PCF for raw materials 
• Analyse supply chain to evaluate footprint of raw materials’ transportation

You will bring : 

• Chemical engineer background, completing a master degree
• Outstanding analytical skills, ability to work with data
• Team player, Initiative and achievement drive
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Good use of Excel and Powerpoint. Basic coding skills including SQL
