About the role

 

Our production team, composed of about 20 people, focuses on hydrogen peroxide production in collaboration with GBU specialists.

As a process engineer, you will work on operational topics and process development to support the Voikkaa site to ensure safety, competitiveness and sustainability of the production process. You will get the opportunity to contribute to our leading position in the hydrogen peroxide business and have a positive impact on our team spirit, site performance and safety culture. You will be accountable for:

  • process safety and energy efficiency studies
  • improving current production processes based on comprehensive data analysis
  • managing the industrial and excellence projects
  • leading local investment projects
  • implementing local practices and routines based on LEAN philosophy
  • solving quality issues
  • provide technical expertise and propose solutions for implementation

 

We offer a permanent contract on onsite working mode.

 

About you

 

Relevant university-level degree in science and/or technology. Relevant work experience in the chemical or process industry is considered as a benefit.

 

Competencies:

  • Fluency in English and Finnish (or willing to learn Finnish)
  • Leading investment projects in a structured and effective way
  • Knowledge of chemical engineering unit operations and technologies
  • Ability to use relevant IT tools such as AutoCAD, SAP and Aspen

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 50000 - € 54000 per year in Finland. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
