Automation & Robotics Intern (Computer Vision)

We are looking for: 

• A student who is skilled in one or several areas of automation,robotics, mechatronics to support research laboratories in the development of automated platforms.

We count on you for: 

• Programming with 6-axis collaborative robotic arms, or x,y,z platforms. Prototype and design user-friendly tools for researchers.
• Support the researchers on writing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and User Guides for the automatic platform.
• Bring a strong commitment to safety through appropriate behaviors, chemical safety awareness.
• Other temporary tasks as Manager requires.

You will bring: 

• Bachelor or higher degree in Automation, Robotic Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science;
• Experience in creating platform with multiple devices via Python with a User-friendly user interface (GUI) is a plus;
• Programming skills in PLC;
• Familiar with communication protocols, such as Modbus, TCP/IP etc;
• Hands-on experience of collaborative robots operation is preferred;
• Fluent English speaking is preferred.
