Mechanical Technician

We are looking for: 

• An experienced mechanical technician in GBU Special Polymers base in Suzhou City. It is a service platform and work for all the production units.

We count on you for: 

• Support the supervisor to finish the maintenance task；
• Strong customer & service focus, try to find the problem and solve it proactively,Take quickly response to provide technical support for production or other department;
• Take corrective action to solve the equipment trouble to ensure equipment run at  reliability and safety condition;
• To carry out regular inspection work on field;
• Implement preventive maintenance plans;
• Actively participate in the regular turn around maintenance work of the processing plant, and complete the maintenance tasks on time and in good quality;
• Participate in the commissioning & startup of new projects or expansion projects, and do well in the inspection and lubrication of equipment before commissioning;
• Fully abide by the company's QHSE requirements and SLSR, ensure that all maintenance activities comply with the relevant policy, especially for the SWP in daily work, identify all kinds of potential hazards, and carry out risk assessment JSA is necessary before start the work;
• Subject to holiday or temporary overtime arrangements;
• Supervise the safety of contractors while working with them;
• As a teacher, he is responsible for providing technical support to other technicians or conducting related skills training or imparting experience;
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

You will bring: 

•  Major in machinery, graduated from vocational technical school or above;
•  More than 10 years of mechanical maintenance experience in chemical industry, foreign enterprise experience is preferred;
•  Understand equipment drawing and P&ID drawing;
•  Familiar with general chemical machinery and equipment maintenance;
•  Familiar with common equipment, pipes and other material properties;
•  Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
•  Computer skills: proficient in using Word, Excel and other software;
•  Language competence: proficiency in Chinese, English reading ability is preferred.
