About the role
Our Sourcing Desk team is composed of 6 people and is part of the GBS Procurement Service Line, focusing on managing key procurement processes and enabling efficient eSourcing Operations.
As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the eSourcing activities, by collaboration with key stakeholders, to ensure an efficient and effective sourcing process.
Your contributions will drive improved performance, foster innovation, and maximize results across the organization.
You will be accountable for:
- Partnering: Engage with Buyers to collect and prepare relevant documentation for sourcing and tender preparation (e.g., business requirements, specifications, previous RFx), support the design and implementation of eSourcing strategies, and assist in the development of Decision Matrixes.
- Screening: Support the identification of suppliers in line with category strategies and market analysis; collect and review supplier responses during the RFI process, ensure all required tender documentation is included in the RFP, analyze supplier and procurement data to identify sourcing opportunities, and secure bidder list sign-off.
- Event Setup: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of eSourcing events, including requirements gathering, event configuration, supplier onboarding, communication and training, timeline management, event monitoring, and support for supplier evaluation and selection.
- Tendering: Manage ad-hoc eSourcing processes, including eAuctions; address supplier questions and troubleshooting issues, collect and analyze supplier responses against predefined criteria, support Buyers in reviewing results and decision-making, and communicate sourcing outcomes to suppliers and stakeholders.
- Pre-Contracting & Data Management: Create contract templates using data from eSourcing events and approval workflows, maintain supplier information, and update predefined templates and systems with pricing, savings, and sourcing data.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Business Administration. Relevant work experience and strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing best practices, and market dynamics.
Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving efficiency and optimizing processes
- Familiarity with eSourcing tools such as SAP Ariba Sourcing, Keelvar, Pinpools or other similar platforms is a plus

Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages (such as French, German, or Spanish) is a plus

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 26,662 - € 36,148 per year in Portugal.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
