Our Devnya Procurement team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Solvay Procurement function and focuses on procurement of goods and services in collaboration with different Devnya site teams and following Solvay Procurement governance and process.
As a Site Procurement Buyer, you will report to the Site Procurement Manager. You will support the management of all sourcing and tactical purchasing activities of all goods and services required for the site in accordance with the Solvay Procurement Governance. You will work in collaboration with the category managers to contribute to the elaboration of the categories' strategies and support the implementation at the site level. By collaborating with relevant site operational stakeholders, you will analyze spend evolution and operational issues, actively supporting the development of spend optimization opportunities and driving operational improvements. You will implement and monitor procurement policies and processes. You will develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers.
- Managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to obtain the best terms (price and payment terms) within authority limits and in coordination with the defined Category Strategies
- Executing spot (non-recurring) purchases for the Site within the agreed authority limit, using e-tools (RFI, RFP)
- Supporting the deployment of Procurement strategies, performance plans, policies, savings initiatives, processes and contracts
- Supporting Supplier relationship management for local Site suppliers and initiatives aiming to optimize spending and operational improvements on site
- Escalating process deviation, including safety, and claims to the relevant management.
We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode (2 days per week in the office).
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
