About the role

  • Our Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering team of 47 people focuses on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) with the continuous improvement of your assets by creating root cause analyses and proactive solutions in collaboration with Maintenance Preventative/Predictive.
  • As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for industrial asset reliability and availability risks to plant or business operations and improve the safety culture on the site. You will promote TPM/TEC culture and implementation, ensuring that all stakeholders are involved: operation, process and maintenance personnel. You will also perform risk-based analyses to support business decisions and ensure that the Management of Change Process is followed with a suitable technical analysis.
  • You will be accountable for
    • Ensure the HSE culture in all maintenance activities
    • Manage reactive analysis of deviations and failures that have already occurred in equipment to develop elimination recommendations by performing proactive analysis that results in increased asset availability
    • Facilitate the use of structured tools and methodologies applied to reducing failures, increasing reliability and reducing variability (MCC, FMEA, RCM, Six Sigma, etc.), as well as developing indicators for MTBF, MTTR and failure analysis
    • Implement Maintenance Plans and Strategies according to the criticality of assets, achieving the most economical preventive and predictive tasks
    • Provide technical support for the condition monitoring function and support new projects by reviewing maintenance and reliability requirements, safety aspects and standardization
    • Coordinate, specify and design improvements to systems and assets, following good practices, technical requirements and regulations. Perform economic and technical feasibility analyses and support purchasing and manufacturing functions

 

  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

 

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical areas of industrial engineering/maintenance and reliability in polymer and textile industries
  • Competencies:
    • Demonstrated leadership in Reliability studies and RCA implementation and improvements
    • Previous experience in high-level safety standards companies and digital projects
    • CREA registered (mandatory)
    • English (advanced)

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 108.000,00 to R$ 135.000,00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
