About the role
Our Maintenance Engineering Team, composed of 4 people, is integrated in the Maintenance Department and focuses on Reliability and Maintenance Improvements in collaboration with Production and Utilities process. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work on Electrical, Automation and Instrumentation to support operation. You will get the opportunity to contribute to improvements and sustainable projects and have a positive impact on site reliability. You will be accountable for:
- Conduct maintenance and operational improvement studies, perform statistical data analysis, and manage preventive action plans and technical studies while identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Develop data collection and analysis methods, implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, and study Autonomous Maintenance (TPM/TEC) for electrical and automation systems.
- Operate and understand medium/high-voltage electrical systems, including circuit breaker safety relays, and interpret technical drawings, electrical/pneumatic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and PLC/DCS control systems.
- Manage electrical infrastructure data such as load distribution, substation maintenance, and NR10 compliance; create/update procedures and prepare bill of materials, equipment lists, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with suppliers by holding meetings, requesting technical/commercial proposals, drafting specifications, and fostering maintenance team development through training and technical improvement initiatives.
We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering. Relevant work experience in Maintenance Department or Project Department.
Competencies:
- Advanced data analysis and automation skills: Minitab (statistical analysis), Python programming, and machine learning applied to industrial processes.
- Proficiency in digital and design tools: modern workplace solutions and Plant 3D for modeling and plant layout.
- Experience in low-code application development using AppSheet, Power Apps, and related platforms.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role with 13o salary included R$ 120.000,00 - R$ 150.000,00 per year.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
