About the role
- Our Maintenance and Engineering team, composed of 152 people, is integrated in the industrial department of Santo Andre and focuses on improving the maintenance reliability.
- As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will work on corrective, preventive, and especially predictive maintenance, engineering, and, most of all, reliability to support the site director in bringing Santo Andre site performance to the next level. You will get the opportunity to contribute to many areas and have a positive impact on all dimensions of results (safety, efficiency, productivity, fixed cost, and quality).
- You will be accountable for:
- Ensuring strict adherence to HSE guidelines through training, observations, risk analysis, and meetings; driving safety improvements.
- Leading sustainable precision maintenance practices and ensuring quality historical data for reliability analysis.
- Leading teams to improve repair times, productivity, and quality by developing engineering solutions and utilizing methodologies like SMED, Six Sigma, and RCA.
- Deploying Condition-Based Maintenance and other digital tools to enhance asset monitoring and defect elimination using machine learning.
- Leading the development of repair procedures, special equipment, and root cause analysis techniques; applying value analysis and ensuring adherence to the Management of Change process.
- Managing team performance and development, evaluating suppliers, promoting TPM/TEC culture, researching new technologies, and deploying a new PPCM system while controlling the engineering department budget.
- We offer a permanent contract based on an on-site working mode.
About you
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Automation Engineering.
- Relevant work experience in cultural changes, digitalization projects, condition-based maintenance, capital projects, and maintenance planning.
- Competencies:
- 6 Sigma or Statistics knowledge.

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 262,000 to R$ 327,500, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additinally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
