About the role 
Our Corporate Treasury team, composed of 15 people, is integrated in the Finance department and focuses on the management of Solvay Group’s financial risks including cash and liquidity, funding long term and short term, financing of projects, risk linked to energy and carbon credits hedging transactions, Foreign Exchange, interest rate, counterparty risk and operational risks associated with running a treasury department.  
 
As a Treasury Manager for the Americas region, you will apply and enforce Solvay Treasury policies, support Corporate Treasury activities, and implement Corporate Treasury tools and policies in the region, including specific financing operations. You will get the opportunity to manage the relations with the local bank network. 
You will be accountable for:  
  • Ensure the flow of financial resources to and from all legal entities in the  Americas region (USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and other Latin American countries).
  • Assist the Head of International Treasury in the planning, development and efficient execution of internal bank services to international affiliates when applicable, and of group cash management tools.
  • Ensure proper funding of affiliates internally or externally (under Capital Markets Team), to deliver accurate analyses in support of the company's cash management activities, and to ensure financial risk (foreign exchange, interest rate, counterparty risk) is properly managed as per the Group's policies.
  • Participate in treasury projects and working capital optimization.
 
We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode (2 days per week onsite). 
 
About you 
 
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or MBA. Relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in Treasury and banking experience, is a plus.
 
Competencies: 
  • Fluent in English; other languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus - Resumes must be sent in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP4/Hana (TRM, APM, IHB modules are a plus), Treasury Management Systems (Quantum), Bank Account Management tools, Payment platforms, Swift environment, and local regulations and practices
  • Good experience in guarantee management
  • Awareness and interest in banking technologies (Swift, Digital, new payment types)

About the pay 
 
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is R$ 217 000 - R$ 271 000 per year in Brazil. Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
