About the role
Our Solvents Sales team in Brazil, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Coatis Global Business Unit (GBU) and focuses on expanding sales of Oxygenated Solvents in collaboration with other functional areas.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will work on managing a commercial and technical client portfolio, executing regional sales strategies, and providing technical support to support key industrial segments including HPC, Pharma, Mining, Coatings, Printing Inks, and Adhesives. You will get the opportunity to contribute to new business growth and have a positive impact on customer satisfaction and regional sales performance. You will be accountable for:
- Prepare and monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and performance for the assigned client portfolio, ensuring alignment with business targets and strategies.
- Execute sales strategies in coordination with the Sales Head of Solvents BU, including market prospecting and management of homologation processes.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee order management, proposals, delivery contracts, and cash flow in collaboration with internal departments.
- Provide technical support to clients and distributors, handle product‑related customer complaints, and contribute to overall sales team effectiveness.
- Monitor market intelligence—competitor activity, industry trends—and promote business products and services through participation in seminars, fairs, congresses, and speaking engagements.
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode with occasional travel requirements.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
At least 4 years of technical experience in Research & Development, application laboratories, technical assistance, and/or BDM focused on the coatings, printing inks, adhesives, automotive and refinish markets.
Competencies:
- Fluency in English is mandatory

- Ability to educate customers on technical and commercial aspects, with strong communication and presentation skills.

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is R$ 171200 - R$ 214000 per year in Brazil.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
