TPC Application Engineer

We are looking for: Thermoplastic Composite (TPC) Application Engineer

- The mission of the TPC Application Engineer role is to develop the adoption of TPC at selected customers:

• Providing best in class technical support to help serve our customers, drive growth and create value for the business;
• Being the technical face of the company in the eyes of our customers to be the partner of choice;
• Being the voice of the customer to help frame internal priorities and drive innovation;
• Drive long term growth through understanding our gaps through customers’ lens;
• Support the development of new technologies to address market and customer needs.
   

- Lead the adoption of innovative, market leading thermoplastic composite materials in the Energy market to support the growth of Syensqo business in Brazil;
- Be part of the Thermoplastic Composite Application Engineering team in Syensqo Composite Materials (CM)  Global Business Unit;
- Accelerate the deployment of TPC in  the Americas Energy market, collaborating closely with Syensqo Composite Materials and Syensqo Specialty Polymers teams;
- Contribute in a proactive manner with the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of both identified applications and development projects;
- Drive own technical awareness for high performance composites and multi-material applications by staying close to market development as well as Syensqo strategic materials development and testing validation.

 
You will bring: 

•  A Master degree in a scientific or technical field;
• Good experience in technical roles in the field of materials science;
• Extensive knowledge of high performance thermoplastic polymers and of thermoplastic composite materials;
• Customer-facing experience is a strong plus;
• Advanced or fluent level of English and Portuguese.

• Remote work but with multiple group collaboration;
