About the role
Our Market Intelligence team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the Marketing department and focuses on pricing strategy, portfolio intelligence, and market analysis in collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and R&D teams.
As a SR Marketing Analyst you will work on global pricing strategies, portfolio positioning, and data-driven market analysis to support the sustainable solvents business. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the growth and competitiveness of Solvay’s Augeo® and Solsys® platforms and have a positive impact on global profitability. You will be accountable for:
- Lead global pricing strategy across Augeo® and Solsys® portfolios and pipeline, balancing margin and competitiveness
- Manage product life cycle and profitability through contribution margin analysis and KPI tracking
- Monitor sales performance and market share, generating insights from market data and trade statistics
- Drive portfolio strategy and positioning across regions, markets, and key applications (Home Care, I&I, fragrances, coatings)
- Support innovation, product positioning, and decision-making through data analysis, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or Economics, with relevant work experience in chemical product marketing (B2B) and market intelligence. Knowledge of dynamics in sectors such as Home Care Applications (Surface Care, Air Care), Fragrances, I&I cleaning, and Coatings is a significant plus.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Strategic communication and storytelling ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Solid understanding of the chemical market and value chain, with advanced English proficiency (Spanish is a plus)

About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: R$ 146.000 - R$ R$182.500 (with 13 salary included) per year in Brazil
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
