About the Role

Our Market Intelligence team is integrated into the Marketing department and plays a fundamental role in the business's global profitability. In this position, the professional will serve as the strategic focal point for pricing and product marketing within the Solvents chain, bridging portfolio expertise with data intelligence.

The mission of this role is to manage portfolio positioning and pricing strategies for the Solvents line, ensuring competitive advantage on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Strategic Pricing Management: Leading the pricing process for the Solvents chain, aiming for the ideal balance between margin and competitiveness.
  • Life Cycle Management: Responsibility for product life cycle management through the analysis of contribution margins and profitability KPIs.
  • Monitoring and Market Share: Tracking sales evolution and market share, providing critical insights based on sector indices and import/export statistics.
  • Portfolio Intelligence: Working on the strategic positioning and competitiveness of products across different markets, regions, and technical applications.
  • Data Analysis: Translating complex data into performance dashboards to support leadership in strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Interface: Close collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and R&D teams to align market and product strategies.

About You

Background and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or Economics. A specialization in Business Management or Marketing is considered an advantage.
  • Mandatory Experience: Proven track record in Chemical Product Marketing (B2B segment).
  • Business Models: Experience in high-value-added business models, acting as a strategic link between global manufacturers and the local market (distribution), is highly desirable.
  • Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the chemical market, encompassing the product journey from supplier to final application at the customer level.
  • Sector Dynamics: Knowledge of dynamics in sectors such as Coatings, Adhesives, or Construction is a significant plus.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools (specifically Power BI).

Competencies:

  • Strategic Communication: Ability to build partnerships with various stakeholders and present data-driven narratives (storytelling) to executive levels.
  • Languages: Advanced or fluent English for global operations. Spanish is considered a plus.

About the pay 

 Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is: 

  • $R 171200 - $R 214000 per year in Brazil

 
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
