About the role

  • Our Paulínia Silica team, composed of 56 people, is integrated in the Silica Business and focuses on the production and delivery of High Performance Silica products in collaboration with the Corporate and Global Business Unit teams.
  • As a Production Coordinator, you will work to ensure that production schedules in the production unit are met under the best cost, quality and time conditions and in accordance with QHSE standards, regulations and customer requirements.  You will get the opportunity to manage and develop your own team, in order to implement changes and deploy corporate programs, leveraging the production unit’s performance on a mid-term basis.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • QHSE Compliance
    • Timely Production according to schedules
    • Cost control (fixed and variable cost)
    • Team development & accountability
    • Sustainability and improvements of the production unit (improvement projects)
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

 

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical or Production Engineering.
  • Relevant work experience (minimum 5 years) in the production or process areas, preferable in the chemical industry or related.
  • Competencies:
    • Leadership to manage and motivate people, coaching and empowering them, guiding their career development.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to equipment reliability and production site issues.
    • Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturing concepts, chemical unit operations, practices, and procedures.
    • The ability to elaborate action plans and lead projects in a successful and effective way, optimizing the use of available resources.
    • To pilot and improve KPI's to drive the production performance, using appropriate methods.
    • Fluency in English is mandatory. French is a plus.
    • Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, AVEVA PI-Vision or similar, SAP or similar.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 196.000,00 to R$ 245.000,00, (Annual Base Salary with Periculosidade and 13º already included) your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
