About the role
- Our Process team, composed of 14 people, is integrated in the Industrial department and focuses on Improvement of our process in collaboration with several teams, specially with the Production Team.
- As a Process Engineer, you will work on developing optimization projects with focus on Solvents units performance increase, raw material and energy reduction, production increase and safety improvements. Support the production and maintenance on the daily troubleshooting and be responsible for safety and environmental studies
- You will be accountable for:
- Conduct mass and energy balance, industrial tests, and process simulations to support improvement studies.
- Design and optimize process equipment and piping, including pumps, heat exchangers, and reactors.
- Lead studies to improve steam and raw material optimization, quality, and capacity in production units.
- Support daily production challenges and conduct safety studies (HAZOP) and pressure relief calculations.
- Interface with suppliers to implement new technologies in the process.
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
- Degree level in chemical engineering
- Abilities with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus / Hysys / EDR)
- Experience on process studies including unity operation from chemical engineering or production support
- English and Portuguese advanced

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 114.000,00 to R$ 142.500,00 (with harzard pay already included), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
