About the role

  • Our Local Payroll Expertise team for Brazil, USA, Mexico, composed of 9 payroll Specialist positions (5 in Brazil, 3 in the USA, 1 in Mexico), is integrated in the Global Payroll and Time department and focuses on delivering Local Payroll Expertise for the 3 countries.
  • As a Payroll Expertise Team Leader for those 3 countries, reporting to the Payroll Manager for Local Payroll Expertise teams, you will lead a team of experts staying up to date with local payroll legal, regulatory and tax rules, training and supporting the Operations team. 
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Operational Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate processing of all time and payroll activities. Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain high levels of service quality.
    • Team Leadership & Global Expertise: Lead payroll teams in three countries. Serve as a global payroll expert, providing guidance and support across the organization.
    • Compliance & Risk Management: Analyze and assess the impact of new legislation and HR agreements on payroll processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain the confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information.
    • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Provide support and expertise to colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external authorities. Manage relationships with external payroll providers. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to payroll.
    • Continuous Improvement: Create detailed functional specifications for process improvements and system changes. Participate in payroll transformation projects and support local implementation. Drive continuous improvement within the payroll function.
  • We offer a permanent contract with hybrid working mode.

 

About you

  • Bachelor in accounting, finance, human resources or a related field.
  • Strong experience in one of the 3 countries in an industrial context
  • Competencies:
    • Payroll knowledge in one of the 3 countries is a plus
    • Fluent in English, Brazilian Portuguese
    • Deep knowledge of HR systems such as SAP HR, payroll systems and time management systems
    • Comfortable managing large amounts of data, an advanced user of Spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) and reports

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base Brasil reasonably expected for this role is R$ 169.000,00 to R$ 258.000,00 your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
