About the Role

The Benelux Site HR team, consisting of 4 people, focuses on aligning the corporate HR policy with the local reality across the 8 Solvay sites in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom. As a Site HR Partner for the Solvay sites in Linne-Herten (NL) and Zandvliet (BE), covering approximately 150 employees, you contribute to the onboarding and development of talents, the daily management of the workforce, and maintaining a positive dynamic within the teams, as well as a constructive social dialogue. You will be on-site at Linne-Herten and Zandvliet at least once a week and maintain regular contact with colleagues at the Head Office in Brussels. You will be responsible for:

  • Local HR and Legal Expertise: Monitoring HR legislation and regulations within your scope and updating local HR policy regarding employment, training, employer branding, compensation & benefits, etc.

  • Engagement and Transformation: Supporting and locally developing HR projects and development initiatives driven by the Global Business Unit Peroxides and Corporate Solvay.

  • On-site Guidance: Providing support to employees and managers within the modernized HR organization, which consists of Corporate HR, Site HR, and a Shared Service Center (including payroll).

  • Social Relations: Maintaining dialogue with employee representatives and local social institutions.

  • Negotiation and implementation of collective labor agreements.

We offer a full-time permanent contract, based on a hybrid working model, requiring your presence in Linne - Herten & Zandvliet at least once a week.

About You

  • Education and degree in social law or human resources, or equivalent through experience.

  • Relevant work experience in HR, preferably in an industrial environment, with knowledge of Dutch and Belgian social law.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent command of Dutch. English and/or French is a plus.

    • Highly developed social skills.

    • Analytical and acting with integrity.

  • Personality:

    • Dynamic team player.

    • High degree of autonomy.

    • Sense of initiative.

Salary and Benefits

  • Permanent contract, based in Belgium or the Netherlands.

  • Attractive compensation package: Compensation is determined within a specified salary range to support your development in the role. While the expected base salary for this position in Belgium/the Netherlands is between € 65,000 and € 85,000, the salary may ultimately be higher or lower depending on your skills and experience. Furthermore, we offer a comprehensive package with competitive benefits, including a variable bonus and group insurance.
