About the role

 

Our Global Advanced Automation & Industrial Data Analytics team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the Industrial Function and focuses on improving the assets performance of our manufacturing sites to enable efficient, sustainable and profitable chemical industrial operations in collaboration with our Business Units & Corporate Functions.

As an Industrial Data Analytics Intern, you will work on designing, modeling & implementing an industrial soft sensor project to support our Digital Industrial Transformation strategy. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the strategic transformation of the company and have a positive impact on the industrial operations.

You will be accountable for:

  • Supporting the development of soft sensors using historical and real-time industrial data.

  • Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to model process variables.

  • Collaborating with process engineers and data scientists to validate models and ensure operational relevance.

  • Documenting methodologies and results to ensure reproducibility and scalability.

  • Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders across industrial and digital teams.


We offer an internship (3-6 months) contract based on hybrid working mode.

 

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemical engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or Applied Mathematics. Relevant experience in data analytics, process optimization or industrial automation is a plus.


Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.

  • Familiarity with industrial data systems (e.g., historians, SCADA, OPC).

  • Proficiency in industrial unit operations.

  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and statistical modeling.

About the pay

 

Monthly allowance: €350
