Job overview and responsibilities
This role combines the responsibilities of both a Regional IT Site Support Lead and a VIP Support Lead to deliver comprehensive IT support services across multiple regions predominantly in North Europe.
The role involves a strong leadership component, managing both a regional IT support team and ensuring provisioning of deciated support for senior executives and VIP users globally.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced successful candidate who will ensure high-quality IT support services that meet diverse client needs and align with the organization's strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to handle sensitive and complex IT issues with discretion and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional IT Support Strategy and VIP Service Excellence:
- Implement global IT support strategies tailored to regional needs, while maintaining service excellence for VIP users worldwide.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain high service standards for VIP support.
- Operational and Tactical Management:
- Oversee IT support operations, ensuring efficient incident resolution and fulfillment of service requests.
- Manage and ensure deliveries of high-quality, personalized IT support to VIP users.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and develop regional IT support teams, fostering a performance-driven environment.
- Manage VIP support team activities, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
- Stakeholder and Relationship Management:
- Act as the main IT contact for regional stakeholders and VIP users, ensuring their technology needs are addressed effectively.
- Build strong relationships and deliver tailored IT solutions to meet diverse needs.
- Technical Expertise and Incident Response:
- Lead the technical resolution of incidents affecting regional operations and VIP users.
- Serve as the technical expert for complex issues and initiatives.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work with the Global Sites IT Services Lead and other regional leads to align objectives.
- Share best practices and address common challenges across regions and VIP support initiatives.
- Vendor and Resource Management:
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure regional and VIP service delivery aligns with contractual obligations.
- Oversee resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
- Confidentiality and Security:
- Ensure all IT activities adhere to security policies and maintain confidentiality, specifically for VIP support.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT support or service management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing multi-regional teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and support tools.
- Experience with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and service management platforms.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams in a multicultural and geographically dispersed environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
