About the role

 

Our HSE team, composed of 37 people, is integrated in the EMEA Industrial Hygiene department and focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs in collaboration with the IH EMEA Expert.

As an HSE Engineer, you will work on hygiene systems implementation, compliance monitoring, and training/tool management to support the regional HSE framework. You will get the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement in safety performance and have a positive impact on employee well-being and regulatory compliance across EMEA sites.

You will be accountable for:

  • Supporting the Group expert in the implementation and management of Hygiene systems
  • Ensuring compliance with current standards, monitoring regulatory updates, and implementing necessary changes
  • Monitoring employee working conditions and enforcing Hygiene instructions on sites (e.g., PPE requirements)
  • Participating in meetings to monitor Hygiene activities across Group sites
  • Assisting the EMEA Hygiene expert in deploying Group Hygiene programs
  • Training HSE engineers and site Hygienists in EMEA on the Chemical Risk and Noise Assessment Tool (SOCRATES)
  • Validating SAP changes to SDS data for integration into SOCRATES; Providing access to SOCRATES for new hires

We offer a VIE contract (12 months) with a hybrid working mode (several days per week onsite).

 

About you

 

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Occupational Health & Safety. Relevant work experience in HSE program management or industrial hygiene compliance.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Monthly Allowance :  2,866,11€
  • This position is a VIE contract, with a long term duration from one to two years. To become a VIE in our Company, you must fulfil the following conditions :
    • Be aged at least 18 but not yet 29 : you must be 28 when you start your assignment, bearing in mind that a V.I.E contract always starts on the 1st of the month.
    • Be French or a European citizen.
    • Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country.
    • Have a clean criminal record.
    • Be able to devote yourself full time to your assignment : no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies or paid activity at the same time as your V.I.E.
