About the role

Our Global corporate communications team is responsible for shaping and protecting Solvay’s global reputation, driving consistent and impactful engagement with key stakeholders and supporting the achievement of the business objectives through strategic communication initiatives.

As a Global strategic communication & content center Director, you will be responsible for setting the strategic director and overseeing the execution of the overarching global communication strategy and for building and leading a world-class Concent center of excellence that elevates Solvay’s brand, reputation and engagement.

You will be accountable for:
-
Strategic communications: strategic communication plans, strategic counsel, oversee the development and execution of communication strategies

Developing and executing a global content strategy designed to elevate our brand credibility, build our corporate reputation and establish Solvay as a recognized thought leader in the industry

Building and leading the content center of excellence: establish and lead a global Content COE, manage a team of content creators, oversee optimization, management and maintenance

Visual content and editorial management

Budget and resource management: develop and manage the budget for the Strategic communication and content center functions

About you
-
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Communication or Public relations
-
Relevant work experience in corporate communications with significant experience in developing and executing global communications, change management and content strategies, preferably within a global B2B environment.

Competencies:

Proven experience in developing and implementing successful global internal communication strategies and employee engagement campaigns

Demonstrated ability to create compelling and engaging content across various formats and channels with a proven skill in tailoring messaging to resonate with diverse audiences across different cultural backgrounds and global markets

Excellent english written, editing, proofreading and verbal communication

Strong understanding of digital communication channels and best practices for intranet, website and social media management

About the pay and benefits
-
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Belgium) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 156 000 euros to 195 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
