Consolidation Manager

We are looking for:

Reporting to the Group Accounting & Controlling Manager, the Consolidation Manager will be the Head of Group Consolidation and will actively participate in major transformation projects.

We count on you for:

• Being a proactive stakeholder;
• Prepare and structure the consolidated accounts of the Group;
• Provide the Top Management with reporting on these accounts, including comments, and relevant analysis;
• Support the M&A department by providing analyses and simulations;
• Provide all internal and external stakeholder with the required and accurate financial information;
• Supervise the Consolidation tool maintenance and evolution.

You will bring:

Skills:

• Strong expertise (= can support group strategic decisions) in:
  • Consolidation & IFRS
  • Consolidation process
  • General accounting
  • Finance specific software (SAP) and IT tools
• Full appropriation (= can contribute as subject matter expert) of:
  • Financial analysis, evaluation method
  • Financial instruments,
  • IFRS
  • Internal controls
• Good controlling knowledge including forecasting and reporting
• Strong communication skills 
• Project Management skills
• Ability to interact with stakeholders from all levels across different cultures 
• Agility to grow with projects and new business entity requirements
• Languages: English(fluent), French and Dutch are an asset 

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial accounting, audit of consolidated financial statements or as consolidation manager;
• Master in Accounting / Finance or equivalent with a specialization in IFRS and Consolidation;
• Experience in Team Management;
• Experience in international environment working with a global shared services center.
