About the role

  • Our Business Development team, composed of 12  people, is integrated in the Peroxide Business Unit  department and focuses on opportunity creation and development in collaboration with the line and staff functions. Join our dynamic, Global Business Development Team, driving growth for hydrogen peroxide across diverse industries and global markets. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen partnerships and unlock new commercial opportunities in key sectors like mining, water treatment, and beyond, making a tangible impact on a global scale.   

  • As a Technical Marketing Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for application engineering and technical support, driving the successful implementation of hydrogen peroxide solutions, with a primary focus on the dynamic mining sector, but extending into other applications. You'll tackle complex technical challenges, develop innovative solutions, and empower our clients to optimize their processes, ensuring safety, maximum efficiency and environmental sustainability.

  • You will be accountable for:

    • Lead technical consultations and application engineering support for clients, ensuring optimal and safe implementation of hydrogen peroxide solutions.

    • Conduct field trials and data analysis to demonstrate product efficacy and develop tailored solutions for specific customer challenges.

    • Develop and deliver technical training materials and presentations to educate clients and internal teams on best practices and emerging applications.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new market opportunities and product enhancements.

    • Provide ongoing technical troubleshooting and problem-solving to address client inquiries and ensure seamless operation of hydrogen peroxide systems.

  • We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model based in Sydney. Expectation would be to be at the Banksmeadow manufacturing site a minimum of 2 days every week. You must be able to travel up to 30% of your time. 

 

About you

 

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science (Chemistry or Metallurgy). 

  • Relevant work experience of more than 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing plant or mine.

    • Hydrogen Peroxide Application Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the product and its use. Mining Industry Knowledge: Understanding the specific processes and challenges of the mining sector.

    • Technical Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to diagnose issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.

    • Client Relationship Management & Communication: Effectively building relationships and conveying technical information.

    • Field Trial Design and Execution: Ability to design, set up, and execute field trials safely, including data collection and analysis, to demonstrate product efficacy and optimize applications

  • Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Australia base pay reasonably expected for this role is 111,440 to 139,300 AUD, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
